Yey, it’s the May bank holiday weekend and there are rumors there is a heat wave about to land in Ireland. With that in mind I have a few pieces from in-store and from online that will keep your kids cool in hot weather and as always, given it is Ireland, I have a few all year round picks too for toddler boys,girls and women.

Penneys for boys have these gorgeous lime green denim shorts, so your little one will be easy to spot in the playground, and I just love these octopus flip-flops with elasticized back, keeping them in place, they would make a great beach shoe for in and out of the water

For boys this week I spotted these two gorgeous orange jumpers in Outfit Kids ( located in Dorothy Perkins, Childers road Limerick). They are lightweight enough to keep your little man warm on a summer’s evening over shorts when the sun goes in.

Littlewoods are having a sale until the 9th of May and all these outfits range from fourteen to twenty-three euro. I love this Dad print set, it’s a perfect tribute for Fathers day!

For a more formal look this navy chinos and striped grandad shirt would be lovely for a special occasion.

And this robot T-shirt and denim joggers set means your little dude looks cool but more importantly stays comfortable!

Outside of their sale I couldn’t resist showing this Cath Kidson shirt and roll up bright blue shorts, the shirt is twenty-two euro and the shorts retail at twelve euro. It’s a fab modern dressy outfit.

As our boys do ,they make us smile and I love this T-shirt and palm print shorts. I love denim shorts for boys but they need to be soft and comfortable and this pair look extremely so and you can’t go wrong pairing raglan T-shirts with them for a casual Summers day look. Raglan t-shirts look great with long-sleeved top layered underneath for an all year round look with jeans aswell.

In Penneys for girls I absolutely love this blue floral belted dress, it’s a perfect Spring/Summer dress, pair it with these gorgeous pink star shoes in-store now.

In Outfit Kids this black denim dunagree dress is adorable with the bright yellow T-shirt underneath. Layer this sail tunic over a pair of denim shorts on warmer days and a pair of leggings underneath once the sun goes in.

Littlewoods have some beautiful dresses for girls at the moment in the sale, all ranging between fourteen and nineteen euro.

I had to buy this for herself, I absolutely love this red embroidered dress ,it will be gorgeous no matter what the weather.

The great thing about denim dresses is how versatile they are and can be dressed up and down quite easily. I love this frill bibbed dress, wear now bare-legged with converse for a casual day look and in colder months, ribber tights and a knit cardigan will keep your little girl warm. This navy frilled sleeved dress is gorgeous on its own or with leggings paired underneath in the colours of the flowers.

Outside of the sale I saw this stunning striped dress with a beautiful kriss cross back, it’s a perfect party dress, it ranges from twenty to twenty-two euro size dependent.

This blue floral frill sleeved dress is so pretty and would be a perfect occasion dress with white pumps and cardigan.

I am in love with this western studded bag in the Littlewoods sale for forty two euro.

For only twenty-three euro, this Miss Selfridge bag in Littlewoods is a lovely bag that will get you through the Wedding season and being cream will match in with many outfits.

I’d wear this mustard bell sleeve bardot top over a pair of skinny leathers for an evening look, it is currently only twenty-six euro in the Littlewoods sale.

How about a whole outfit for under eighty euro! This gorgeous Summery floral print dress, velvet bag and block heel shoes will take you to many an occasion and all of this will cost under eighty euro in the sale, which runs until the 9th of May.

This playsuit and strappy shoes both come in at one hundred euro , how gorgeous would this be for a more casual wedding, guest look.

You could wear these amazing shoes under this floating floral dress from Littlewoods to really pop out the yellow flowers. This dress is eighty euro and would be as nice with a leather jacket layered over or a simple braided upstyle for an event.

In Penneys I picked up this pink suede bag for only ten euro. I picked it up to go with this blazer ( which I have worn as a dress) and bring out the pink of the flowers in the blazer/dress. I love the bright colours on these neckpieces aswell, and picked up the mustard one for myself , they will make any outfit pop.

Everyone is going mad for the embroidered tops in Penneys at the moment and I love this red and white one in particular, it comes in plain white and blue and white aswell and would look gorgeous over white skinny jeans and wedges. I also picked up this peplum floral blouse in Penneys, it does fall a little short on the waist but it is still a gorgeous and light blouse.

I have the turquoise version of this dress that came out last Summer and I get so many compliments when I wear it and this white floral print is no exception. It’s a really pretty print and will take you from day to night easily. As will this gorgeous mustard floral floor length dress.

This cold shoulder striped dress is a great Summers day dress, worn with either flats or wedges and a bargain price.

How cute is this daisy dotty front knot dress, you could wear it with black flats during the work day and shake it up with these purple or coral block heels if you are heading out after work.
