One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion.

Am I allowed to say it and not feel ashamed for doing so? Today is the 1st of December after all and since the Late Late Toy show is on tonight, half the nations’ trees are about to go up and the Santa season has begun I want to wish you all a Happy Christmas. For my non Irish readers who have not heard of this Irish institution before I have a link at the end of this piece where you can view it from anywhere around the world.

Think adults, children and lots of battery operated toys in one studio. Think lots of cute children singing and performing for the nation. Think of the presenter dressed in his finest Christmas jumper and the audience dolled up to the nines in polyester Christmas outfits all eager to leave the show with hundreds of euro of free toys and you might just about get an idea of what the Toy show means to the Irish.

Onto my picks for this week and I have a mix of online and in-store choices to show.

Starting off with Littlewoods for boys, all these clothes are currently on offer, ranging from €8.50 for this gorgeous cardigan to a maximum of eighteen euro so there are some really lovely bits on sale currently. I have a link at the end of this piece ,non affiliated, but just to point you in the right direction as to where to look.

I put together this shirt/dickie-bow and cardigan combination over these formal pants, but they would look equally as cute over a pair of jeans, perfect for a Christmas party for your little boy.

I also loved this print dickie-bow shirt and as always I am a sucker for a denim shirt and this colour would be gorgeous over a wine pair of chinos with a little wine dickie bow as a nod to the season.

I ran into Next for a peak at the sale last week but to be honest there was not much out but these few pieces caught my eye as I was passing. Again another denim shirt, I love the patch work effect here with the differing denim shades and would pair these over black jeans and boots.

You could do a double denim look with these faded skinnies or pair it with this fabulous red shirt or either of these padded shackets in younger boys.

However my best find in Next was this Christmas jumper for boys and it will all become clear in a moment.

Ta,Da! Twinning Christmas jumper and dress combination. I just adore this girls Christmas jumper which matches in perfectly with the boys Christmas jumper above. And if you thought this was a match made in heaven wait until you see further down…

Any unicorn obsessed little one or Mammy will love this cosy grey knit dress with unicorn motiff.

For a more traditional Christmas look they have this beautiful print peter pan collared dress in both navy and red in Next right now at a very reasonable price point. These would be so pretty with T-bar patent shoes.girls red peterpan next

I loved this tutu skirt rabbit dress but comfortable and girly at the same time.

I have to say I adore this black floral print dress in Next for younger girls, it is a gorgeous alternative Christmas party dress for those who don’t like the traditional Christmas colours. Pair this with a short bolero and tights and it is worthy of any party.next girls black

Stopping by the Littlewoods sale section again for girls and I can’t believe this gorgeous velvet floral print navy dress starts at only twelve euro! I also love this black frilled floral dress on offer currently also, I would pair this with a mustard cable knit tight and black calf high boots for a pop of Winter colour against the floral backdrop.

It would not be Christmas without tartan and here is one more casual look but still very pretty dress for your little girl or a more dressy choice with the frill top, skirt and tights combo.

If you are still on the lookout for a party dress for your little girl then both these party dresses are on offer currently until the end of next week. Again a link in is at the bottom of this article.

Staying in Littlewoods special offers for women, I just love this star print skirt and would pair it with this simple black sparkle top and either a black leather short jacket for a more informal night out with black ankle boots or you could dress it up a bit more with this flared coat and pink boots.

The grey frill high neck jumper dress is a great outfit choice for lounging about St.Stephen’s day or as an outfit to dress with cable knit tights and calf length boots for any outdoor trips over the Winter.

Here are two black print options which would be lovely for Christmas day as alternative to red or creams, you can bring in a nod to the day like below with the red heel or pick up a pair of red ankle boots which seem to be everywhere at the moment.

And here it is the third twinning piece in Next for Women. We have a trio of matching Christmas outfits ( I forgot to check the mens so they may well have a mens jumper to match) for Mammy, him and her!

I don’t ever wear ponchos but this colour and knit was too lovely not to share , in-store in Next also.

And that is it for me this week. I hope you have a truly lovely weekend whatever your plans are 🙂
