I have just about made it in for Friday due to gremlins being at play but better late than never! I have posted over on my Instagram and Facebook pages (@Dodeestodaquiris) this week how I had huge success with the Marks & Spencers sale and now the many many packages arrived I wanted to share a few pieces with you that I picked up for the kids.
First up for the boys, no Christmas is complete without a Christmas shirt and this navy Santa print does the job and will be perfect for one of the kiddies Christmas parties they will go to over the holidays with a pair of jeans paired with it. How cute is the print!
Next up is this lovely Dinosaur print tracksuit. The dinosaur is a fluffy motif which is great for little men who love the sense of touch. I love the mustard detail in the band of the pants ,matching into the jumper. My little man is obsessed with pockets and will love this star print hoodie which is fleece lined and has the obligatory pockets for hiding his little toys in.
This grey checkered shirt is lovely, soft and cost on the inside to keep your little boy warm. I think this will be fab with a pair of faded grey jeans and also more formally over a pair of wine chinos.
And lastly I wanted to pick up another warm cardigan that would keep my son warm in the car on the morning rush to playschool and this beautiful red one fits the bill. There are no strings on the hood to be pulled out ( bonus!)
I popped into Outfit for kids in the Dorothy Perkins store in Limerick to see had they updated their stock since opening and found a few new pieces in-store. This navy jumper with star shirt collar underneath caught my eye as a perfect Christmas day outfit and this navy knit hoodie would layer over perfectly.
Popping by Zara I had to pick up this long sleeved top for my little artist, at only €4.99 it is a steal!
For him and her, both bargains from M&S I needed Winter gear if we get cold weather and snow and these snowsuits fit the bill perfectly. I picked these up for twenty euro each, a complete bargain! Fleece lined and waterproof ,the weather won’t stop us from venturing out for walks in the cold. You can see the reflective zips here too which are great for when dusk falls when out and about from a safety perspective.
For her this week from my Marks and Spencers haul here are the lovely pieces I picked up. I love knit dresses on little girls with boots and chunky tights. Add a cute print into the equation and M&S have hit the spot with this beautiful cloud motif frill shoulder, knit dress. I will pair this with the grey tights (not pictured) that came with it and these stunning silver sparkle boots I picked up for twenty euro in the sale. I love these boots as they are a very versatile colour and will go under a variety of colours.
I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked this pink “Smile” jumper and dress as I had believed it to be an all in one piece. However the striped piece is a sleeveless dress, meaning I have two outfits in one as both could be worn with other pieces for different looks.
I need this in an adult version please! This cobalt blue sparkle frill dress is fabulous and will grow with your little girl from a dress now with tights to a tunic later as she grows taller with leggings underneath.Same goes for this lovely Peter Pan denim collared dress.
And lastly from M&S for herself is this rich pink, sparkly, fleece lined cardigan, again another in-car purchase ,guaranteed to keep my little girl cosy on the school run.
In Outfit for kids in Dorothy Perkins, this cute little fox in a pocket pink jumper caught my eye in the girls section, I would love this over a little skirt or skinny cords.
And pairing this beautiful cream, fur lined coat from Penneys for younger girls your little woman would be all set to brave the elements,in style.
For Mammy this week ,I abstained from the M&S haul and confined that to shopping for the kids and picking up some Christmas presents but I did see the following pieces out and about during the week.
In Penneys I fell in love with the colour of this pleather jacket and was impressed with the softness of the material. I didn’t add to my collection as it is the wrong time of year for short coats in my opinion but if you were on the market then you can’t go wrong with this.
Popping into Dorothy Perkins and with Christmas party season and outfits firmly in mind ,these jeans are top of my wish list! Pop over to my IG stories and Facebook page for a video on the sparkle, they are amazing! If you are brave enough to wear them during the day you could dampen them down a little with this beautiful cream floral print jumper or if it is Christmas jumper day in the office, this Penguin jumper is one that someone has to buy me, given my penguin obsession! This leather floral embroidered skirt also has twenty percent off at the moment and will suit lots of different looks to get you through the Winter period.I paired it with the floral jewelled jumper here for a more casual look .
Another wish to my Christmas list is this box chain black handbag in Dorothy Perkins.
In Zara this week I spotted a few pieces that would not suit me but I really liked all the same. This pink jewelled coat is gorgeous and would be beautiful over the green floral dress and skirt with skirt combo pictured here. The long space themed black dress is a beautiful print and would be fab with a black leather jacket over it.
I love this grey pearl studded blouse and the grey pearl jumper is a steal at only €17.99 and so soft to wear ,its the ultimate cosy jumper. Both would be lovely paired over leathers or skinny jeans.
Bags are high on my wish list for Christmas and either of these two beauties from Zara would put a big smile on my face. I love the yellow ring bag and was surprised by how spacious it is inside. The deep wine studded bag is a perfect bad to blend in with this seasons colours.
Stop all your looking I have found THE Christmas party dress and skirt if you are brave enough!Oh the sparkle is just devine!
And lastly, grab yourself a bargain and invest in one of Zara’s well known best sellers. They really are the Queen of Biker jackets. I have a few leather and suede one’s from Zara and this mustard suede coat is not only gorgeous but a steal at €29.99!
Have a great weekend everyone !
