One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion.

Friday is here ! and we are one week closer to Christmas so I imagine alot of you are out and about getting the last few bits. Like everyone it has been a manic week for me with no time to go anywhere bar a few quick food shopping trips on snatched short lunch breaks so I have a few picks to show you from Tesco ,( which is always handy when you are popping in for the nights dinner to run through the clothing section).

I am also conscious that at Christmas there is an overload of cute Christmas print clothing about, in particular for kids and whilst I am unable to resist buying a snowman tutu dress and a reindeer print boys Christmas shirt ,Ideally you want clothes for the kids that won’t look silly come February.

Bearing that in mind I have a few pieces from Zara to show you which are festive in their prints but won’t also look out of place in 2018!

For boys mix and match is the name of the game here. A checkered shirt is always a winner at Christmas, throw in a granda collar and I am sold! I picked these soft suspender accessorised pants and these fab red shoes from Zara as a great outfit choice over Christmas. This red and grey striped jumper would also be a lovely pick paired with these pants and later over jeans.

How cute is this red, claw pocket jumper in a festive wine colour? I love these grey comfortable yet stylish joggers, with suspenders attached, which would also be lovely with this green star, grandad collared top.

Popping into Tesco these two coats caught my eye, for under thirty euro each they are perfect for the cold snap we are having at the moment and will keep your little boy warm and cosy.

For girls back in Zara, again checks feature strongly, but here I have picked a few black prints with hints of red. The two pinafore dresses would be lovely Christmas day with a little sparkly cardigan over them and can be worn with a white polo neck underneath after the holidays. I also adore this long sleeved black and white floral applique dress which would be very cute paired with a pair of wine ankle high lace up boots and a fur gillet over.

I picked these two dresses and this amazing playsuit as alternative Christmas outfits for girls who are less girly girl. Whilst the tulle dress has pink going through it, I love the design of this dress and with cream tights and ankle boots it would be stunning for any day over Christmas. Likewise the grey pompom dress, wine ankle boots and a wine gillet would be lovely on any little girl . lastly this playsuit is something a little different but I just love the look and would wear with boots, tights and a little flutter sleeved blouse underneath with a chunky knit cardigan over for warmth.

In Tesco, this red velvet floral print dress is a steal at under fifteen euro. I showed the star jumper last week but how cute is it over this black and white checkered skirt? the skirt print is also in a pinafore style instore too.

This jacket for girls also caught my eye, I can’t pinpoint the colour, it is between a silver and gold but is lovely and shiny for this time of year, and cosy too , being the most important!

Going back to Zara for women, both these dresses are under twenty euro and are ideal for Christmas day if you want something that looks lovely but is also comfortable. I picked up the dress on the right and will wear it with black tights and ankle boots.

Both these red ruffle and wine velvet dresses again are a bargain in Zara and offer both style and comfort for over Christmas. The red is a tighter fit dress whilst the wine dress is worn loose on the body.

I love Zara knits and have a few of their pearl design knits from this years collection. This cream pearl embellished short sleeved one caught my eye as a nice alternative for Christmas day, and I have picked a brown suede and navy leather skirt to go with it here.

Lastly for women this week a shop I never go into as it is only in Limerick town ,is Mango. Excuse the bad shot but this mustard floral print dress was only €15.99. It is such a pretty dress and extremely flattering and comfortable. There are two other prints in this style, both black floral designs. I also saw this mustard frill bottomed dress which I imagine is stunning on and hopefully will get back to try it over the holidays.

Happy shopping everyone and if you are venturing out to the shops this weekend, go early and avoid the rush if you can.
