It is all about Penneys this week with a few pieces from Tesco for boys thrown into the mix.
First up for boys if you are starting to think of Christmas, there is nothing more adorable than a shirt and dickie bow pairing and this cute shirt from Penneys would be gorgeous with wine chinos or paired over dark blue jeans. I love this black denim shirt and top combo which would be really cool over grey jeans, as would this NYC motif hoodie instore this week.
Popping into Tesco this checkered shirt caught my eye, it is a beautiful green colour in reality ,the light is slightly distorting but trust me it is a beautiful shade of green.
I love this cute polar bear long sleeved top for boys and is perfect for all the kids Christmas parties coming up over jeans. Or if Christmas jumpers are your little mans thing, then this pom pom jumper in Tesco would fit the bill nicely. If you want to go the whole hog, of shirt,dickie-bow and Christmas print then here is the shirt for him. How cute is the print on this boys shirt!
I love this other blue checkered shirt in Tesco at the moment, I am always impressed by the softness of their little boys shirts which won’t irritate sensitive skin. And how cool are these pants and suspenders? All tops and shirts would be lovely over this pants so you can mix and match over the holidays.
Back to Penneys for little girls this week I absolutely fell in love with this frill collared denim shirt which will give you lots of different looks paired with skinny jeans, skirts and pinafores.
They have some beautiful tops in-store at the moment for girls, these two pretty blouses are perfect to be paired with cord shorts or skirts for a more dressy look and later over jeans for a more casual look.
I have a weakness for coats and these two new into Penneys for girls are too cute. The green winter coat with pink faux fur collar is your perfect Christmas coat and I love the grey boucle coat with the duffel buttons, this grey coat is perfect in the car as it is nice and thin but cosy aswell.
If you are searching for some party dresses for your little girl, Penneys are really ramping up their stock now and there are some beautiful pieces in store. For unicorn obsessed girls this tutu style dress will be sure to keep them happy. The navy floral embroidered dress is stunning and made it home with me so keep an eye on my Instagram as I will be posting some pictures once I put it on A.
I haven’t seen this style girls dress before and I love the velvet striped detail on it, it is a really rich looking fabric and looks far more expensive than what the cost it. The blue velvet and gold dust dress is devine and the picture doesn’t do this dress justice, you need to see it. The little bows on the shoulders are lovely and the gold dust sparkling across the bottom of the dress is beautiful. And lastly if you prefer a more traditional style party dress this gold sparkle bow dress will fit the bill. Penneys have cardigans of all lengths in store to suit all these dresses and the others that I haven’t featured so you will be sure to find a complete outfit in the one place.
Boots! These three pairs of girls boots are perfect for Christmas with their sparkles. The lace up style is a glitter explosion, I love them and the bow detail boots in red and black will suit any outfit.
I ran into Zara and these two dresses caught my eye. I think the picture of this star dress doesn’t pick up the beautiful shimmer of the material and I love the frill sleeves. Overall though the colour didn’t do anything for me but I think this is a gorgeous dress and definitely a party dress for someone over the Christmas. Pop over to my Instagram stories to get a look at this gold sequin dress to see it in all its glory later. It is quite large fitting, I tried on a medium and think if I were to buy it I would get a small but I loved this dress on. The sequins drip off the dress and move with you so perfect for all the dance floor moves at upcoming Christmas parties.
Back to Penneys and I literally wish I had an open credit card this week with all my finds!
I featured their new leather coats last week and now they have it in a beautiful wine colour. The dusty pink coat was forty euro, quite large fitting closed but extremely cosy to wear.
So this coat is a bit out there for me but I have fallen in love and only wish I had somewhere to wear it. The block colour combos of pink, white and grey I think are stunning. For only forty euro it is such great value, the quality is really good and I have not stopped thinking about it since I tried it on.Again it is quite large fitting, I tried on a ten and even with my bust it was roomy.
I love this mustard frill cardigan and would pair it over this frill pleather skirt , a camisole and with opaque black tights and ankle stiletto boots for a night out or 100deniers and wedge knee high boots for a more casual look.
The dresses are stunning off the hanger and I was really disappointed with the fit on the bust as Penneys have been generous in sizing as of late with their wrap dresses. I tried on the ten ,hence why you can only see the side profile pictures 🙂 If you were to go up a size these dresses are really good value.
Here she is , “The” velvet wrap dress. It is in-store right now in wine and a midnight blue colour. I bought the wine and it is my Christmas day dress, we all want to be comfortable for that big feed and the ten is this is roomy and extremely comfortable to wear. For only sixteen euro its great quality and a great price.
I wanted a cosy roll neck jumper and picked up this pink sparkly jumper for those crisp Winter days out. Cardigans are everywhere instore and I thought this pearled grey long cardigan would be lovely over jeans and the leather skirt featured earlier with the many skinny ribbed polo necks in-store right now.
I am a huge fan of jumper dresses in the Autumn and Winter, paired with black tights and knee high boots and these two caught my eye this week. I love the richness of the red roll neck dress, it was on the hanger as an off the shoulder dress but kept slipping up off the shoulders so I styled it as a roll neck and think it looks pretty nice. And lastly this white cable knit, bell sleeved dress took me by surprise on how comfortable it was to wear and how much I liked it even with the bare leg, although tights are a must in the weather and all deniers, designs and colours are in-store too to match up to your choosing.
I’d love to see you over on Facebook or Instagram too so check my pages out @Dodeestodaquiris and we can share all our bargain picks for the kids and Mammy alike there too. Have a lovely weekend everyone:)
