Happy Friday, St Patrick’s day in advance and long weekend:) I was zooming around the high street shops on my lunch breaks desperately trying to find the twins green hues of clothing for St. Patrick’s day so snapped a few pictures of cute kids clothing as I was whizzing by.
Marks and Spencers currently have a 50% off sale online and in store, I couldn’t resist this grey turtle shirt and colourful grey hooded shirt. I love a roll sleeve on boys clothing, meaning they can be layered in colder weather like the pictures here or during the Summer ,worn with sleeves rolled up . This cute navy roar print sweatshirt is very cute aswell.
Popping into Heatons their Summer clothes for boys are starting to come in and their T-shirts are extremely cute! I particularly love the two pack bird set, and how adorable are these chino anchor shorts, retailing at thirteen euro.
Pair any of the looks above with these ridiculously cute sneakers for boys in Heatons in space and animal prints.
And lastly you can’t buy for Summer in Ireland without buying a raincoat, this grey and blue car print coat will fit the bill perfectly.
I bet you know where I went next. of course it was Mothercare and that ever recognisable Little bird by Jools Oliver rainbow padded gillet. I am very tempted to buy the twins one each, I love gillets in any season.
If you have a little boy then you might find this My K by Mylene Klass boys jumper in Mothercare very cute. I have to say I could buy this for both Aoibhínn and Brían as both are happy collecting random items in their pockets.
This dinosaur print polo shirt and joggers are perfect for your dinosaur obsessed boy, there is a long sleeved jumper also, not in picture.
Dinosaurs are definitely a theme for boys in Mothercare with this little yellow dinosaur motif on the blue polo shirt and white short sleeved shirt pictured below. Both these and the pirate T-shirt would be lovely with the chino shorts below.
Checkered shirts are back with white going through them , again you are buying two looks here with tops layered under both this black and white checkered shirt and blue and yellow dinosaur shirt combination.
In the Marks and Spencer sale this pom pom skirted dress caught my eye in the 50% off sale, aswell as this pink unicorn print frill dress and beautiful white frill sleeved dress. There are lots more very pretty dresses in the sale so it is worth having a look online for the Summer holidays.
I spotted this lovely lighthouse print fleece lined raincoat in Heatons for girls, perfect for cooler days out exploring and both these floral boots and pink gold starred boots would be lovely with skinny jeans or dresses alike.
Again I bet you recognise the brand. How gorgeous is this pinafore dress (straps not pictured) I have the little purple short sleeved knit pictured behind this dress for Aoibhínn and am very tempted to purchase this pinafore to go with it. I love the cheery prints in this range in Mothercare’s Little bird by Jools Oliver.
I only wish this dress was in adult size, it is such a nod to the 60’s and would be so sweet on girls. Pair with white cable knit tights and a yellow cardigan to pick up on the yellow piped collar now and later in the year a pair of tan brogues would be gorgeous with this dress.
In the My K by Mylene Klass range it was generally more muted colours which are lovely and in particular I liked this bunny tunic/dress.
Another perfect dress for this time of year is this heart motif dress and wear this cute coral mouse dress with a long sleeved top underneath for now and as is pictured on sunny days.
This yellow dress is so pretty and cheerful for Summertime, also from Mothercare.
In Penneys for girls this navy and white striped dress is a lovely Summer dress and in their occasion wear range this Little Stitches daisy detail cardigan and tutu ( which is also in blush pink) are lovely. This icre-cream cone ra ra skirt is cheap and cheerful at only three euro and a perfect Summer slip on over a swimsuit on the beach.
In Tesco for girls I loved this gingham shorts and top set and the cream laced cold shoulder dress. The daisy embroidered pinafore with little T-shirt underneath could also be worn with this layered motif blouse and on rainy days pair this navy bow raincoat over it to keep the rain away.
For women this week in Tesco I love this mustard waterproof jacket great for when you are out and about with the kids and want to keep the rain off you.
I also spotted this denim embroidered off the shoulder dress in Tesco, a perfect holiday day or evening dress.
Marks and Spencers have this beautiful multi coloured off the shoulder dress in-store and this white floral handbag would pair together with white laser pumps. This cheesecloth dress is perfect for layering with a loose cami or over swimwear after a day on the beach.
In Penneys this yellow floral jumpsuit is a bargain at only eighteen euro and the pink floral tea dress is one that will bring you from Spring to Summer worn with tights now and bare legged later on. I loved this mustard floral buttoned skirt, worn with a simple white T-shirt and brown cross body bad and flats ,it’s a perfect Summers day look.
Colour dresses are really starting to come into Penneys rails now and these two red tea dress caught my eye. All of these dresses are under sixteen euro. The black polka dots dress can be worn with this black blazer, also in store now for twenty-three euro and with a bright knit layered over it for a more casual look. The frill wrap dress has a discreet button which is fantastic that Penneys have listened to us larger busted customers who love their wrap dresses but had issues with some styles up to now!
Lastly how pretty are these open black dresses from H&M.
Whatever you are up to this weekend, whether it’s a normal weekend if you are reading from outside Ireland or you have a weekend full of all things green, I hope it is a good one 🙂
