It has been awhile since I have written a Friday fashion blog post and I have decided to change my fashion posts going forward. I’d love to give the time I used to my “One for him, one for her and one for Mammy fashion blog posts but with the demands of life I find the instant access to Instagram easier to share my fashion finds for women and kids. So if you are not following me over there you can find me on http://www.instagram.com/dodeestodaquiris.
I will however keep posting more styled children’s looks over here on the blog for those who do not have access to Instagram and with that in mind here are a few looks I have put together mixing from new buys for the twins and integrating them with items from their existing wardrobes.
For girls first up it is all about keeping warm at the moment as the icy weather hits Ireland, whilst these were purchases for over the Christmas you can still find some stores with these items in stock. The gorgeous fluffy rainbow jumper is from Tesco, F&Fclothing, the scarf and snood is from River Island and the beautiful sparkly skirt is from Dunnes Stores. You can match the tutu with a t-shirt or cotton long sleeve top once the seasons change and the jumper will be as cute over a pair of skinny jeans and leather boots.
This amazing sequin skirt is from H&M Kids , I bought this this week online from new stock for fourteen euro. You can put together lots of different looks with this skirt given the amount of colours in it. I’ve paired it with this hot pink knit from Outfit for kids and boots from Heatons stores and if you wear it turned around as you can see in the second picture I’ve paired it with this beautiful peter pan collared knit from the Little bird range from Mothercare to pick up on the purple colours.
Tom and Jerry has made a comeback in recent years, isn’t it lovely watching cartoons with your children that you watched growing up yourself. Whilst I generally don’t buy character clothes for the twins ,given there is very little merchandise out there with Tom and Jerry on it, when I saw my little guy’s face light up when I handed him this hoody from H&M kids I knew it was a good purchase! The green is a beautiful shade and the hoody is fleece lined so perfect for this time of year. I have paired it with lined jogger jeans from Zara and these lovely wine boots from Heatons.
Not a lot of boys clothing sparkle and I think it’s a shame as little boys are obsessed with change sequin clothing as girls, so to stop my son chasing his sister around the house when I saw this sparkle robot jumper on the Asda kids website I knew I had to get it for him and once again he was thrilled with himself, it changes to a darker robot for boys who might not want to shine quite so much , the best thing about this is that you could easily dress your little girl in it too !
Hopefully you have seen some pieces for children you like here that can mix in with your kids current wardrobes and I’ll be back soon with some more children’s clothing inspiration over the coming weeks. In the meantime as I mentioned for more day-to-day looks of pieces I see when I am out and about keep an eye on my Instagram feed and stories xx ( and yes sometimes pieces for Mammy slip in too)
Lovely to have this post back on a Friday Xxxxxxxxxxx
