Well hello, it’s been a little while since I have done my Friday fashion piece, life has been distracting in lots of different ways and I have not been near a clothes shop in nearly two months, nor have I been online much truth be told. However with the return to pre-school fast approaching I am seeking out cool yet crèche friendly clothing, and also have a few first day clothes for your little boy or girl if they are starting their big adventure in playschool .
First up in Next online and thinking ahead to colder days how cute is this little puffa jacket in the tiger print. Next have lots of gorgeous tracksuits and mix and match separates , here are a few of my favourites.

How fab is this jumper which would match these striped jeans perfectly!
In Penneys with B in tow he showed me his favourite pieces for younger boys ! This black t-shirt is what it’s all about for kids, with life being good. Comfortable pants are a must and we both liked these navy and red striped cuffed leg joggers.
These puffa coats are an absolute bargain and I fell in love with the mustard one so it came home with us but the silver one is really nice too. Lastly B insisted on showing this red and navy checkered shirt and it’s been bought for Christmas to wear with navy chinos!
In Tesco for boys I liked this cheeky monkey t-shirt and your little guy could wear it underneath this checkered shacket on cooler days with a pair of blue jogger jeans.
For girls you cannot go wrong with tunic dresses for playschool wear. Wear as dresses now and as your little girl grows then layer leggings underneath! Next as always have lovely three pack dresses in mono or colour explosive designs.

I bought A’s first day of school pinafore and top from Next last year and it’s similar to this pretty bunny faced pinafore, if pink isn’t your girls favourite colour then how cute is the navy pinny with t-shirt.

If dresses are completely out for your little girl then I love this unicorn jumper and unicorn knee jeggings also from Next.
Stopping by Littlewoods quickly I love this pink frilled Unicorn motif dress for girls and yellow being one of my favourite colours for kids this broderie bibbed dress is adorable for later in the year.

For girls in Penneys if you have a formal occasion coming up this pretty pink lace dress won’t break the bank and is really lovely , wear with pink t-bar shoes and a sparkly cardigan from the many in-store.
We are loving the swan clothing for girls in Penneys for the last while and this is a new top we saw this week. Lastly I love jumper dresses on girls, again because as they grow taller you can layer leggings underneath so you get longer from the clothing and this pink knit one is very cute.
In Tesco for girls I found this really nice dinosaur t-shirt and leggings set aswell as this cute dress for any dino mad girls out there. I also love this blue tie dye affect pinafore set in-store currently.
Over in Next for women I have fallen in love with these shoe boots and wanted to show you a few different looks with the same boots. For a daytime event this green floral dress boots would be perfect, add a little belt to give the dress more structure or wear it loose with a blazer over for comfort.
For a more cosy look you could add a pair of pleather leggings underneath this cosy star knit dress and again pair these fabulous boots underneath for a cosy Winter look.

I love this striped fluted sleeved dress and the pink boot with a clutch would be a lovely contrast against the stripe.

Seeings are there is no avoiding leopord print I wanted to find two different takes on the print which would go with these boots and Next have both these gorgeous dresses in stock now.
Littlewoods may have released the perfect Autumn Winter denim dress in this number, I absolutely love it, you could wear it bare-legged with brown ankle boots now and add a chunky knit cardigan and tights in the Winter. For only fifty-five euro it lends itself to be styled in lots of different ways.

Wear this beautiful pink dress from Littlewoods with rose gold accessories and a statement necklace for an Autumn wedding, and layer black tights and ankle boots at Christmas time for a more informal look.

In Born clothing in Limerick I had the twins with me and whilst I saw loads of gorgeous Autumn/Winter I really need to pay a visit back in on my own to take a few pictures. I did manage to take a few to show you some lovely pieces in-store.
I love this red cord skirt and blue and red embroidered jumper which would be fab now on colder evenings and then layer chunky tights underneath come the colder weather.
If you are heading out for a night out, how gorgeous is this purple shirt dress ! or a red tea dress will take you to any occasion day or night.
Get the last out of your white skinnies by pairing this beautiful floral blazer with a silky camisole underneath.
In Tesco this lovely striped dress caught my eye as the perfect transitional dress, put a pop on your feet with a yellow strappy heel and clutch bag.
So I hope you see something that might inspire you for the back to school/first day look and remember you got this, as you leave them at the door of the school for the first time. It might take a little while for them to settle as it did for the twins but fast forward a year later and they actually miss school( I doubt this enthusiasm will last all the way through to secondary school!)
