Sweet and sticky slowcooker homemade bbq chicken wings

Balsamic vinegar 6 tablespoons

1 chicken stock pot

Tomato sauce 4 tablespoons

Honey 4 to 6 tablespoons

Worcestestershire sauce 6 tablespoons

Brown sugar 3 tablespoons

Wholegrain mustard 2 tablespoons

Crushed chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

Garlic granules 4 teaspoons

Onion salt 3 teaspoons

Ground black pepper 2 teaspoons

Smoked paprika 4 teaspoons

Cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon

Paprika 2 teaspoons

Honey & Tomato sauce- extra for adding mid way through the cooking process

Cornflour if you want to add it to your sauce and thicken on the hob before serving.

Method
I cooked the chicken wings on high in the slowcooker for four hours, at three hours in the sauce is more watery as the chicken wings contain more water than ribs for example so I left the lids off for the last hour whilst adding some extra honey and tomato sauce.

I then just before serving took the wings out and added a little cornflour and whisked the sauce on the hob( my slow cooker pan can be used on a hob outside of the cooker) to thicken it up ,and then readded back in the wings .

Serve with your favourite sides, my kids actually have these with pasta as the bbq sauce makes a gorgeous pasta dish mixed with the chicken and some brocolli.
